Border Patrol - November 13, 2011 The final racing related event of 2011 for me in
terms of racing will come this weekend at the annual Parts Peddler trade
show at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
Many local race teams check out the show for the latest and
greatest in racing from all different types of manufacturers and product
vendors. I plan to go on
Saturday to promote Finish Line Web Design, and will talk to drivers,
other race fans, and people from the racing industry.
It is always nice to keep in touch with the racing circle, and this
will be the final time to be able to see many racing friends until next

The month of October is now over, and we go into
November with the racing season now behind me.
Sure, some area race teams have one more event remaining as they
travel south to Concord, North Carolina for the DIRTcar World Finals on
the biggest stage possible this coming week, and other tracks further
south have races planned such as Penn Can Speedway, or Hagerstown Speedway
but for me, my season is over.
Last year, I was
fortunate enough to attend the World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte
Motor Speedway. This place

For the last few
years that Brockville Speedway has hosted their annual Northeast Fall
Nationals, they have managed to get their program in without any major
weather issues. As with
hosting any outdoor event in this area, especially in the fall, the
weather always has the potential to play a factor in the outcome.
With rain developing late Friday afternoon, and lasting through
most of the day on Saturday, the Brockville Speedway had to continuously
alter their racing schedule throughout the weekend.
